This scale works with bandsaw mills that use a bottom up scale where the ruler is stationary, and the pointer moves up and down with the sawhead. The colored sections of the scale includes a 1/8" kerf. The ruler on the far right is a standard ruler. High quality print. Durable. Strong magnet but easily removable. Displays 4/4, 5/4, 6/4, 8/4" cuts. Ruler goes to a height of 36 inches. Ruler can easily be cut shorter to fit smaller mills.
